ORIGINS

Rebecca was born on Nantucket, a small island off the coast of Massachusetts. Her native place has formed her outlook on life and her approach to design.

Rebecca grew up working at her family’s vegetable farm and nursery and planting and maintaining landscapes for several landscape designers on island. Since her time on Nantucket, she has spent most of her adult life in the San Francisco bay area. Rebecca brings her perspective derived from self-reliant island living to this urban setting, instilling some of the community, creativity, and resilience of her childhood.
